Catella Property Group at that time was a leading real estate transaction advisory group, active throughout Europe. In Germany the group has offered property management services (CPM until 2008), valuation, asset management and corporate finance (until 2009) as well as rental sales and investment brokerage (CPA) with CPG acting as a holding company. As group CFO and COO key aspects of activity were the group structures, group finance, and I.T., while in the operative units the responsibilities were rental brokerage and property management services.

Core activities included:

  • reorganizing the group (merging Catella Property Germany AG to CPG followed by a spin-off of CPA and CPM)
  • providing the organizational preconditions for the development and expansion of the group’s business
  • reorganizing the personnel structure of the group in Germany and the reporting to group headquarters in Sweden
  • supporting the sale of CPM and an MBO of Corporate Finance and Asset Management
  • supporting the foundation of Catella Real Estate AG KAG, a company licensed by BAFin
  • incorporation and setup of Catella Property Sp. z o. o. in Poland
