Energy Management and Risks

(Dr. Frank Herdmann & Deann Desai)

Energy costs and energy availability are becoming more and more a concern of any organization globally. Energy is a critical resource and its efficient use can lead to significant cost savings and environmental benefits, improve competitiveness and ensure business continuity. It contributes to climate change mitigation by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supports compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. A reduced carbon footprint and alignment with sustainability goals will further help the organization and – at the least – improve its reputation.
