Power of attorney was conveyed after six months and Vice Presidency (Prokurist) granted after three years.
Accomplishments included:
- introduction of foreign currency notes under English law
- introduction of cross currency and interest rate swap contracts under English, American and German law
- introduction of VISA cards including co-branding (ADAC) and the legal work behind the acquisition of
B+S Kartenservice GmbH, a card processing company from Banco Santander - legal work for the cooperation of the bank with Gothaer Versicherungsgruppe, a leading insurance group in Germany
- drafting the guidelines for the bank’s branch officers
- legal work to facilitate trans-border banking by Berliner Bank AG
